Complaint Review: SIMPLE ESCAPES

I had noticed a $14.95 charge ocouring on my mothly bank statment, when I inqiered who MWI* Simple Escapes was and haw to get a hold of them by my bank they couldn't tell me.

So I went on line & did a search for MWI* Simple Escapes I was apauled to find hundreds maby thousans of other consumers who had been fraudulently chaged by this company. I contacted the companys toll free # & complained that since july 2003 I hade been being charged $14.95 a manth for a sevice I had no idea what it was. louis #25043 told me that I signed up for a trial member ship for 30 days at $1.00 & never caceled it. I asked him if there was any activity on my so caled account from the day I was first charged & his answer was no you never acsessed the web sight.

I imidiatly said if I had signed up for a trial membership would it not make sense that I would go to the web site at least once, his reply was yes. I then requested a full refund going back to july 2003 to now (feb 2004) & his responce was we are only alowed to give two months of refuned charges I asked to speek with a superviser and he said he was it. I am going to write the consumer relations dept at 9500 w Dodge Rd Omaha Neb 68114 & file a report wih the atourny general. Be aware they don't even flinch at leagal action threats & they have already lost clas action suits for milions!
