First of all, to clarify my situation, I am disabled and am on a very fixed income that I receive from Social Security. I have to save all year in order to give my family a nice Christmas, which is always celebrated at my home with my children and their families, parents, sisters and brothers along with their families. It takes me all year in order to save up $1200.

In September of 2008, I spent months putting together my own website, selling products that I love. I registered my company and got a reseller's license. My problem was that most of the products that I wanted to sell, the wholesalers had a minimum of $2,000 that I had to spend on product and I would have to order quantity and do all the shipping myself. I was frustrated because I do not have a warehouse or the financing to order such quantities. I wanted a wholesaler who also provided dropshipping.

In November of 2008, I went online to research out wholesalers who also did dropshipping. I found Simplx! I had numerous conversations with Kade Opfar, fully explaining my situation, and that I was looking for specific wholesale items that I wanted to put on my website. Kade assured me that their were 72 wholesalers that had the product that I was looking for. He expained how Simplx worked and that by investing $1,100. I would have access to 60 million products, that I would be given an ebay powerseller as a coach, and that there were 4 different ways to make money using their system. By accessing the ebay powerseller, Kade told me that most of their clients were making a minimum of $200. per day and that was just one of their methods. He also told me that I could receive a %100 refund if I was not satisfied. I was excited to get started and was assured that help was just a phone call away.

I quickly made arrangements through paypal to get the money to Simplx. It was every last dime that I had. I wanted to get started immediately. It took about a week to fill out paperwork, fax it over, and wait on their response. I finally received all my info, password, and so on. I sat down at my computer and started going through all the materials. I was getting more and more livid by the minute. I called back Kade to complain about the program, and he told me to just wait and speak with the ebay coach first. It then took another week before I was finally able to talk with a coach. What a joke!

They did not have One Single Wholesaler. What they did have was a list of established companies like Target, Walmart, Sears, Macy's and so on that their sister site digitaldropship.com had affiliate connections with so that they could make the commissions through commission junction, linkshare, performa, etc. They would kick back a small percentage of money to me if I sold any of their products (Way 3 of making money with their company). But all of the products were already at full price.

The eBay powerseller tried to walk me through how to find products online and then auction them off on ebay. All the products were already at full price.

I finally decided that I wanted my money back. This was not at all what they told me it was. After a run around with the company...they put me in contact with Jake (801-806-0021) who was in charge of refunds and cancellations. He told me that I had to cancel within 3 days of signing up in order to get a refund. It took a week to get my materials. How was I supposed to call back within 3 days. I was now even more livid.

I contacted PayPal and filled out a dispute with them, and they basically told me that they back the seller and would not help me.

In the meantime, Christmas was a week away, I had no gifts, no food to feed all these people, and ended up with the most humiliating Christmas that I have ever had. Everyone had to bring food, and I did not have a gift for anyone, which has not happened to me ever, and I am 50 years old.

I still have not received my money back, which I believe that I am entitled to. Plus, I would like to sue them for the $200 a day that they said that I would be making. I am so discouraged over these dropshipping companies that are rated so high on the internet and are nothing more than a scam. People need to be aware of what is out there and do thorough research on any company that they are sending money to. No one will even help me.

Simplx - DigitalDropshipScam

#3Author of original report

Fri, December 11, 2009

Not once did any person at Simplx/DigitalDropship offer any kind of help to rectify this situation. I had quickly returned all the contracts (within a day) since I was excitied to get started and make some money asap. I did not receive anything back from them until a week later...they stated that I only had 3 days to get a refund from the time I sent them the signed contract. That is part of their scam. By the time I received any info to even make a decision on whether this was something that would help me, it was already to late to get a refund.

My circumstances are not much different than alot of people today. I thoroughly explained my situation because I needed to know that what I was spending my entire savings on was legitimate or not and also if it was what they claimed it to be. A Rip Off is a Rip Off...no matter how they try to justify themselves.  The right thing to do is to refund the money if a customer is not happy...that is just good business. If they are as successful as they say they are then they should not have a problem refunding "ONE" disappointed customer.

DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH EITHER OF THESE COMPANIES WHICH ARE BOTH PART OF THE SAME COMPANY.

Simplx.com has been in business for over six years, and strives to provide the best dropshipping service possible. With this in mind, we will address each of the complaints/accusations in the order this individual has stated. Simplx values, respects, and cares about each customer who chooses to apply for or purchase our services.

Simplx services are designed to assist customers in dropshipping items and making a profit by doing so. Our system is a proven model, and many customers utilize our services each day and make money doing so. The salesman who spoke with this customer promised that our services worked and we had a refund policy to back it up. Our refund policy at the time was a 3 day refund policy. We have since extended that to 7 days. We also provide a Twelve (12) Month Money Back Guarantee, which ensures customers who are serious about using our services for a certain length of time. We stand by our services and our guarantees and fulfill on each of these.

The customer claims that he was promised that would be linked up with wholesalers, but we are very strict on making sure that customers understand our services allow customers to dropship products using online stores, not warehousing wholesalers. The actual word wholesale or wholesalers is not used once on the Simplx website, and it is not used by our sales representatives either. Our model of dropshipping provides customers with discounts at over 1,900 different merchants/suppliers, and these discounts are off whatever price is listed on these supplier's website. Some suppliers already discount products off the MSRP, and when adding the Simplx discount, incredible prices can be found using the Simplx model of dropshipping. Simplx has setup partnerships with several large, well-known companies through either their own affiliate network or through other 3rd party networks.

Simplx offers training/coaching to customers to assist them in using our services and sell products online. We provided these promised services to this customer, and they were assisted by an eBay powerseller, as promised.

This customer was outside of their refund policy, and felt that their personal circumstances should allow them to have the deadline listed in the refund policy extended. The customer had the documentation of this refund policy, read and agreed to it, and then asked that it be changed. We strive to provide the services and products which were promised to this customer, and the refund policy which the customer agreed to was followed in this situation. Again, we have since changed our refund policy to 7 days. We have also changed our system so customers receive their username and password immediately after sign-up is completed, allowing customers to fully utilize the 7 day period.

The reason PayPal sided with Simplx in this case is because they recognize what the customer was promised, and those promises were fulfilled. They also were aware of our agreement with this customer, PayPal recognized that this customer was beyond the deadline to receive a refund.

We express our concern and sympathy to the customer for their personal circumstances, but we will honor what the customer signed and agreed to.

Again, Simplx wants to provide the services or products which are promised, and is not trying to rip off any customers. Simplx values, respects, and cares about each customer and is not trying to scam any customer out of their money. Because we care about each customer, we encourage customers to provide feedback on their experience with Simplx. Customers can know that any feedback or complaints they would like to send to Simplx can be done so via email at Feedback@Simplx.com Simplx can usually provide responses to any complaints within 1 business day to any customer who submits a complaint at this email address. We are confident we can resolve your concern or complaint, even if we need to provide free products or services to do so.

Sincerely,
