Sadly I wasted a couple of years working for Simplx and I can say with 100% conviction that Simplx.com is a scam.  The owner is able to make a profit using the program because he is an Amazon affiliate.  He gets 10% cash back from Amazon, add that to the 2 or 3% he gets from Simplx and another 3% cash back from his credit card and you have a pretty good margin to profit from.

However the problem is that Simplicity Group advertises that you will get up to 65% off of retail.  This is false.  I have never once seen anyone get that number. I have tried many times to make the simplx program work and it just doesn't work.

All they do is link you up with companies that are in commission junction and linkshare to get rebates.  Most of these companies are large retailers like best buy, walmart, target, macmall, ecost, tigerdirect and many others.  The problem is when you sell an item none of these big companies will ship out to an address other than the billing address.  So what then??  You guessed it, you are supposed to ship the item to your self and then ship it out to the customer.  Good luck making a profit when you have to ship twice.   The whole thing is a joke.

The reality is that all drop shipping is a scam.  No real company is going to sell you products one at a time for wholesale prices.  It just does not happen.

That being said, Simplx is a horrible company.  In my time there I have seen them take over $7000 from a retired old lady who lives on social security income, that was her nest egg.  She could not figure out how to make money because the "powerseller training" advertised by simplx does not exist.

I have seen them take over $5000 from a disabled veteran who lives off of his disability income.  He too could not make their convoluted system work.

I have seen the bottom feeding salesmen at simplx relentlessly pursue customers knowing full well that they have a terminally ill child and are facing enormous medical bills in the near future telling them that by "investing" $3,000 - $5,000 they can be financially secure for their trials ahead by being able to make huge amounts of money and only working 10-30 hours a week.

I have seen this company change names more than a few times in an effort to escape the stink of a bad reputation.

I have also witnessed them repeatedly take advantage of their employees.  Charging for health insurance yet not enrolling the employee for 1 to 3 months just to pocket the extra money.

Paying employees 3 and 4 weeks late so often that it becomes a regular schedule.

Hiring new office staff for full time positions only to cut their hours 3 weeks later down to 15 hours a week.

Stealing commissions from salesmen after a customer charges back due to a horrible lack of customer service weeks and months after the initial sale.

Promising grand incentive programs and prizes to top performers and never delivering or rewarding the winner.

Once a salesman quits they make it a regular practice to tell them that all of their last 2 weeks sales cancelled to avoid paying out commissions owed.

Giving employees the OK to go to school and work limited hours until they finish and then abruptly firing them a few weeks later.

Holding final paychecks for up to 6 months when no policy was disclosed or agreed to by the employee.

Canceling health insurance with no advanced notice so that when myself and others finally found out we were no longer covered.  They could have just told us.

And the list goes on and on.

I am not angry with simplx as much as I am angry with myself for not leaving sooner.

I often times wonder how the owner sleeps at night and then I realize he probably sleeps just fine,  after all its all about money and he is making enough to pay for peace of mind.

If you are going to try a drop shipper I would suggest any other company but simplx.  Just go check out the eBay forums and other rip off reports filed.

Good luck to all your future drop shipping endeavors.  If anyone finds a legitimate opportunity please leave me a response here and I will check it out. I would really like that.

Thanks.

Simplx is a credible company

Simplx.com has been in business for over six years, and strives to provide the best dropshipping service possible. With this in mind, we will address each of the complaints/accusations in the order this individual has stated. Because the individual has chosen to not release their name, we cannot confirm nor deny if they were an employee of Simplx or not.

First, Simplx.com is not a scam. The company is a registered LLC in the State of Utah, USA, and is in full compliance with all the legal terms and agreements of that state. One of the best users of the Simplx model of dropshipping offers his feedback on the system and gives tips for advice on the Simplx blog (blog.simplx.com). Simplx merchants/suppliers give up to 30% back off whatever price is listed on their websites, not just 2% or 3% as this individual has falsely stated. Yes, there are some suppliers who give lower discounts in the 2% or 3% range, but Simplx has setup partnerships with over 1,900 merchants/suppliers, and a majority of them provide discounts of over 5%, more often then not, over 10%.

The Simplx website does state that you can receive up to 65% off the retail price, and using the Simplx service you can absolutely do so. Many of our suppliers offer great discounts on their websites, sometimes up to 30% off retail already, then provide Simplx with another 35% as well, for a total of 65%. Simplx can confirm this promised discount amount and will firmly stand by this statement.

Simplx has setup partnerships with several large, well-known companies through either their own affiliate network or through 3rd party networks. The individual falsely states that we require dropshippers to ship products to their home first, then onto the customer. Our model of dropshipping does not require customers to ship items to their own address first. All of our suppliers allow our dropshippers to ship products directly to customers, meaning that billing and shipping addresses are different. Many of the merchants named offer this shipping option to retail customers as well. It is common practice among many well-known merchants to allow customers to have a different shipping and billing address. The Simplx model of dropshipping utilizes this feature, and does not require dropshippers do ship products to their own address first, before sending items to customers.

Dropshipping is not a scam. Many people have been very successful using drosphipping as a source of buying and selling on their own website or on auction websites. By viewing the Simplx Blog, you can see that one of the best dropshippers using the Simplx network sold over $300,000 in revenue in one month, using the Simplx model of dropshipping, with profit margins anywhere from 7-10%.

Simplx is up front with customers, and never charges a customer for an account without permission. Our products are guaranteed, and we proudly state our Twelve (12) Month Money Back Guarantee with every account purchased from Simplx. Simplx offers live training sessions to customers who are interested in receiving additional help. They are not mandatory, and can be purchased separately from any other product offered by Simplx. Customers are asked to provide feedback on the usefulness of the live training sessions, and an overwhelming majority of customers have stated that the live training sessions have been helpful and they were worth the money spent on purchasing them. If customers complain that the training session is not helpful, Simplx offers additional support until the customer is satisfied.

Simplx has been in business since 2003, and has never changed the name of the service or product. There are additional packages and products offered by the company, which have different names, but Simplx has been a constant name in dropshipping since its inception in 2003.

Simplx respects and values their employees. Full time employees are offered fair compensation for their time and talents, and some qualify for additional benefits, including medical insurance. Simplx is not required to provide these additional benefits, but does so because we value and respect the employees who work for the company. As most companies do, Simplx asks the full time employees who choose to take the medical coverage to pay a partial amount of the cost of medical insurance. This is a common practice among all companies. Again, Simplx shares some of the cost of the medical insurance with the employee who chooses to take the option of this coverage. It is not mandatory for an employee to select or pay for the medical insurance provided by Simplx, but it is an option which the employee can select by their own free will and choice.

Payment to Simplx employees is done two weeks after the work period has ended. This is also a common practice among many companies, because it allows time for the pay roll to be completed, and if any adjustments need to be made, then can be made during this two week period.

As many companies have experienced recently, the amount of hours which Simplx has required from its full time employees to complete all the tasks necessary have changed. With the change in the demand for time, the amount of hours required by full time employees has changed as well. Simplx wants to provide the best customer service possible, and as such, has added or subtracted the amount of hours as necessary.

Simplx has an aggressive charge back policy, to provide confidence to salesman so that when they complete a sale, they can know the commissions earned are going to be received by the salesman. As is the same with any other sales job, if a customer ever cancels their order or account before the refund deadline has passed, then Simplx honors that refund policy, refunds the money to the customer, cancels the sale which has been made, and removes the sale from the salesman's list of sales for the week. Promised commissions are always paid out for completed sales.

Occasionally, Simplx offers bonuses or special incentives for salesman, and always fulfills on these promises.

Simplx offers a free term employment policy to its employees and salesman, meaning they can quit whenever they would like to. As such, when an employee does choose to leave, all pending sales which have not been completed yet, are not paid out until the completion date is passed. Simplx never keeps salesman commissions which have been earned.

Simplx highly encourages further education and skill acquirement. Many Simplx employees have college or university degrees or are currently pursuing them. Simplx has been and continues to be very flexible with these employees, offering flexible working hours to suit their needs. The allegation that employees are fired after graduation is completely false, as many full time employees have completed their undergraduate studies, and continue to work for the company today.

Paychecks are only held if there are pending sales have not been completed. Full time employees who are not commissioned based do not have their paychecks held as long as an exit interview is completed. All the policies of termination or volunteer termination are stated at the time of employment, and are made aware to all employees before employment documents are completed.

Insurance coverage is offered to some full time employees, and is guaranteed to be paid for by Simplx, as long as the premium payments required by the employees are completed. The only reason an individuals medical insurance would be canceled is if they discontinued paying their premiums.

In summary, Simplx strives to provide the best services and products possible. We stand by the products which we offer, and an overwhelming majority of employees and customers are completely satisfied for the services rendered. We feel it revealing that this individual chose not to address the complaint with the company directly, and chose a 3rd party channel instead. Customers and employees can know that any feedback or complaints they would like to provide can do so at Feedback@Simplx.com Simplx can usually provide responses to any complaints within 1 business day to any customer who submits a complaint at this email address. We are confident we can resolve your concern or complaint, even if we need to provide free products or services to do so.

Sincerely,

Just like Doba and the rest of these dropship scammer who feed on getting those monthly fees and start up costs  I used Doba for a short period of time, ( free trial,) but was called an offered a deal and i took it, based on the salesperson assurance that their data feed worked on 3rd party web sites . it didn't and I cancelled the service bases on misrepresentation. they kep 100.00  bucks of my money even though I hadn't even finished my free trial.I was looking at this company and I looked around for other services and found this one ! and there was no risk involved traderickswholesale.com If your interested in starting up a new store, or just buying products for an existing one try traderickswholesale.com. they have no start up costs, no monthly fees and dropship for free. and honest to goodness wholesaler and dropshipper/ prices are in line to make money and shipping costs are not inflated/no handling fee either. so you have no investment or risk. you pay for what you sell after it's been sold and you've collected the money. a free storefront can be had at profitsharingauction.com  so I hope these suggestions help you recover your losses the best part no investment no risk so you have nothing to lose
