(For all effected nationwide please notify.  I am taking action on principle alone).

The company Simply Sweet Wine (simplysweetwine.com) is a complete scam happening not only in Austin, but other cities throughout the United States.  They claim to have a headquarter (per there website) at "9600 Great Hills Trail Austin, TX 78759" and open Monday-Friday 9 to 5PM.  However, this building allows clients (this is a legitimate building) to reserve space on a daily basis.  Per the office manager, they were only there one day to instigate the scam.  The building charged $90 for the office space and the credit card turned out to be declined thus the building lost the money as well.  The office manager and building are also concerned.  Please note the following regarding the scam:

1.  A craigslist posting is placed stating jobs for $20 an hour doing wine demo's.
2.  Examples (in multiple cities - I have screen shots in case they expire) can be found on Craigslist (search "Wine Demo" in "all gigs").
3.  Upon instant hire, they charge a $25 badge fee (to get it made) which is reimbursable at training the following week.
4.  The following week, the interviewer (a supposed "Curtis Jackson" whom we all met with and there should be video camera evidence of his presence) text'd some (not all) that training was cancelled because he was on vacation.  His phone number (still have) was soon disconnected.
5.  The website is registered to (I have more details in regards to this).  Note how the name spelling differs here than the on the website.  In addition, the website says he was born in Italy, yet "Cadafi Bryant" does not sound Italian by any means.  That home address differs on his other websites  (he is listed in Michigan as well) and the phone numbers are all invalid.  And I doubt the "President" exists (Sarah Mclimans).  It mentions she has been President for 4 years, yet the website domain only was created January 5, 2012.  This is most likely to divert against the real owner.

Registrant:
Cadafi Bryant
p o box 90789
Houston, tx 77290
US

Domain name: SIMPLYSWEETWINE.COM

The money reimbursed would be nice, but I am doing this more for the principle of bringing down somebody(or more) who is scamming many.

I was also I victum of this "Simply Sweet Wine" scam in Dallas, TX.  I have researched about this guy and this is what I found:

1. His real name is possibly Curtis Mico Williams. I found an mugshot of him from when he was arrested in St. Lucie County in FL in 2010 http://florida.arrests.org/Arrests/Curtis_Williams_3240489/

2. He is currently trying to do this scam in Atlanta GA. So I have notified Craigslist and have been trying to get in contact with the Atlanta Fraud Investigations Unit. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/evg/2848758097.html

3. He also has two other falase companies called Simply Fantastic (an escort service, www.simply-fantastic.com) and Hollywood of Houston ( www.hollywoodof-houston.com)

I hope this guy gets caught!!!!!

That all sounds bout right but he told me his name was Curtis Bryant, and that training was moved due to management shortage.

A few weeks ago I had an interview had to pay $25 for an employee badge and web site. I should have known better but I did it anyways. I was pose to start training the following week. The day before training I get a text sating training had been moved to Feb 15. I tried calling the number back no answer, so I call the number that contacted me for the interview (I had called the number before and got answer) but that phone was no longer working. I called the building where the interview was held and was informed that the company had only rented the space for the day and had nothing else book. Called and spoke with somebody at the building that the web site and Better Business Burrow has for them in Austin and they know nothing of Simply Sweet Wine.
