I signed up for Sinemia while I was out on disability in order to be able to take my son to the movies, not knowing how long I'd be disabled.

Rather than saving money, I incurred $255.88 in damages as a result of signing up for a year long membership with Sinemia. I have documented their failures in providing any or adequate notice, surreptitiously adding penalties and failures to fully inform the consumer of onerous restrictions.

A family of four who signs up for a yearly Sinemia membership would incur over $100 in fees above and beyond the membership fee in order to be able to actually use their Sinemia membership.

As it turns out, I was only on disability for about 20 days but I can imagine people like me, including single mothers or those affected by the government shutdown, likewise signing up for Sinemia thinking they are being financially responsible only to be taken advantage of by Sinemia.

If you have also been the victim of Sinemia, here is my original Excel file. https://www.dropbox.com/s/brmyozu3q9te6u7/Sinemia%20Lawsuit.xlsx?dl=0 . You can use it to calculate your damages and sue Sinemia in small claims court or join a class action lawsuit.

Good luck to all the victims of Sinemia. I hope they are forced to pay compensation to all their victims and are then bankrupted out of existence.
