Complaint Review: Singer Laser Storm

I ordered a lazer storm vacuum (Description AT7739) from this company after seeing it on t.v. I was supposed to buy one and received one free & receive a free steamer (only pay for the shipping and handling of the "free" items).

I received a box with four (4) lazer storm vacuums and a bill for $313.70. I called the company and was told that if I sent the two extras back that when they received them the 1/2 of the charges would be credited to my charge account.

I mailed the two (2) vacuums back to them and paid $33.09 in return shipping fees (I was also told that the return shipping fee would be credited back as well). I ordered the vacuums on Aug 8th, 2005 and sent the two (2) extras back on Aug 23, 2005.

As of today (Nov 11th, 2005) I haven't received my credits of $156.85 for the vacuums that I returned nor have I received the credit for the shipping cost. And I haven't received my "free" steamer yet either. So, I've been charged $313.70 for 2 vacuums, plus the shipping charges of $33.09 (Totalling $346.79) All for 2 vacuums that aren't even that great - they sure aren't worth $350 and not worth the headaches and stress that this has caused!

Do not waste your money - go to (competitor's name deleted - see below)! They are giving the "Singer" name that has been well known and trusted for decades a really bad name! A Very Disappointed & Ticked Off Customer!
