Complaint Review: Singer Lazer Storm - Igia

i also ordered the lazer storm vacuum after seeing the television commercial. i called the number on the tv and was offered a second vacuum for free. i was also offered a free steam cleaner if i paid for the shipping, which i accepted. so, i should have been billed $99 for the vacuum, and $20 for the shipping. that is all... and no, i did not agree to any second group of vacuums, nor did i agree to steamer accessories.

when my box arrived, there were four vacuums, and no steamers. i saw the invoice and my charge was $313.70. unbelievable. after numerous attempts at trying to contact the company by phone, i finall sent emails to several different email accounts, explaining my problem and asking for help. most of the emails came back undeliverable, and the one that didn't has never been answered.

today, i tried the phone again, and after leaving it connected on speaker phone for a very long time, i was shocked to hear a woman answer. she was VERY unhelpful and VERY rude. all she said was that she would arrange to have someone pick up the extra vacuums ( i believe that when it happens). she said i never ordered a steamer and that the $74.00 chipping charge on my bill was not refundable.

i have called my credit card company, and they have put the charge in dispute. it is very unfortunate that people can get away with this type of blatent fruad. please be advised and tell everyone you know not to order this product.
