Singer ripoff, Scam, Fraudulent Billing Internet
I ordered a vacuum cleaner as advertized on TV Channeel Guide. I was surprised when I saw my Visa account charged of $308.78. My wife called their 800 number and spoke to a certain Carol on 9/06/05. She told my wife that the amount was for 4 vacuums.
My wife told her that we only ordered one which until now has not been received yet. The lady assured my wife that I will be credited within 4 weeks. To date we have not seen the credit and the vacuum we ordered. My wife called again the 800 number but it was just a voice mail and advised to write to Customercare@singerlazer.com. I sent an email to the web address given but delivery failed.

Our automated ordering system provided you with an option either to accept (by dialing 1) or pass (by dialing 2) on the two additional units for the price of 1 offer. If there was a misunderstanding with your order, we apologize and we will correct it immediately.
We do not add additional item's on customer orders. As you may know all of our calls are recorded and if you wish the record of your order, we will make it available at your request. We make every effort to refund in a timely manner, if you are requesting a refund, please provide us with a full name and address, so we can process your request immediately.
