Complaint Review: SingerLazer - Storm Vacuum - Sarah Robert Singer

In September 2005, I ordered one vacuum from SingerLazer and was suppose to get one free. Instead I was sent four vacuums w/no invoice or any other info in the package regarding returns.

I returned the entire contents of the package via UPS requesting a signature upon delivery. UPS attempted to return the package and noted that the address listed for Singer (Sarah Robert Singer) has relocated and they were unable to locate.

I attempted to cancel the order one day after placing the order and was unable to do so by phone or e-mail. The telephone numbers were useless, everything is automated. The e-mail address returns w/a delivery failure notice; so obviously its fraudulent too.

I disputed the charges ($271.87) w/my credit company. The charges were removed and Singer then placed two additional orders on my credit card in October 2005. I immediately notified my credit card company and was told that Singer has monthly recurring charge on my credit card.

This company is a total fake and is using deceptive practices to steal from the public. Buyer beware. Do not purchase or order anything advertised by SingerLazer. This company is not in any way affiliated w/the Singer Vacuum Cleaner company.

I was assisted by my credit card company and was not held liable for the purchases. They also advised me that they get a lot of charge disputes regarding SingerLazer w/many of the same complaints as mine. I don't understand how the bank that is backing SingerLazer has not discovered the fraud and should ask questions about all of the disputes and credit card company recinding the charges.
