I canceled Sirius earlier this year... the service is OK, it was just that all of my cars now have integrated satellite radio and they are all XM. My Sirius radios are in a closet and have been for some time now. I canceled Sirius.

Well many months after that I got a collections message on my answering machine and called them back. They spit a number out at me that I owed... it was in the $70s... I didn't write it down. They asked me how I planned to pay and I told them that I didn't since I had canceled the account in good standing with Sirius.

So I called Sirius and supposedly they had no record of my cancellation and had continued to bill me. I have no way to prove that I did cancel since the only way to do so is via phone call that they have no record of. The young man said my account balance when they finally did terminate it was $28. As near as I know I never received a bill after I called in to cancel, but did receive some mail and calls to sign back up.

I'm not sure where this will end up, the person at Sirius apologized for any inconvenience... which isn't really beneficial to me in any way. It seemed like an odd thing to say given the circumstances.
