SIRIUS XM RADIO Joe Zarella and all the call center people HARASSMENT is the only word to describe this Organization - SHOULD BE ILLEGAL Nationwide, Internet
I was given a 3 month fee subscription to XM Radio when I leased my new car. After the 3 month period, XM began to call to try and talk us into signing up for an additional 6 months. We turned them down telling them we did not use it during the 3 months as we don't listen to the Radio.
The acted like they couldn't understand how we could say no. They have CONTINUED to call NON STOP Daily. We reported them to the Do Not Call Registery but they continue to call. They call from at least 5 different numbers and have called as early as 8:15 am and call until 8:45 pm.
I started answering and hanging up on them. So now they call and hang up on me. I think they have also given my phone number out to other companies as all of a sudden the calls have increased from other companies.
This is truly harrassment at it's most UGLY. They must be DESPERATE for business and in this economy I bet lot's of people are cancelling or not signing up again. They call 6 -8 times per day and hang up on me. Even if I don't answer they just call, let it ring a few times then hang up.
It's sad and I hope one day they eventually go out of business because I would never buy or lease a new vehicle with this free service. In fact you could not offer me this service again with them and pay me to take it. These are sad and pathetic people to say the least!!!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT EVER TAKE XM or SIRIUS unless you want to be harassed until you must change your phone number, which I plan on doing now so they won't even be harassing me, it will be someone with my new number. HOW SAD!!!! HOW DESPERATE THEY MUST BE.

They get your phone number from your car dealer

I bought a new Toyota and they started calling and harassing me after about a week. The dealership must have given my phone number to them because I never contacted them and I was never interested in doing business with them. During the 3 months that I was able to listen to their stations I heard "Afternoon delight" (kind of elevator music) about 50 times. This was on the "70s" station. the other stations offered about the same excitement....
I am happy that finally they disconnected me and I don't have to take advantage of their free trial period anymore. Finally I can listen to real music on KSLX again.

I had the exact same experience. They can get around the "do not call" registry because you have a "pre-established" business relationship with them. They are currently being sued by the Missouri Attorney General for these practices.
They called me twice a day every day after my trial subscription ran out. I told them I didn't want their service. They still called. I asked them to stop calling. The still called. I called a customer service number for Sirius and asked for the calls to stop and they assured me they would. They still called. I went online and logged into my account and changed my phone number. They still called. I called a different customer service number and asked them to stop calling. They still called. Twice a day, everyday. They are relentless.
I filed a complaint with the FTC. They said I didn't have a valid complaint and there was nothing they could do. The only thing I could do was add them as a contact in my phone and then program it to send their calls directly to voice mail. It's still annoying to have missed calls from them all the time.
I don't know if there is anything you can do to get them to stop. If you or anyone else has any ideas, let me know because I've tried everything I can think of.
