SIRIUS XM SATELLITE RADIO NO REFUND AFTER 14 WEEKS FOR THEIR MISTAKE NEW YORK NEW YORK

I signed up for Sirius in 2005. But finally had to get rid of my service because of the customer service, or lack there of. Let me run down the list of problems I had with Sirius.

1. Had 2 accounts at one time. They switched billing info for some reason and shut both subscriptions off when the 6 month subscription (that I didn't want any longer) expired.

2. Overcharged my credit card on several occasions causing an overlimit fee of $39.00 each time. However they did give me a free year for their mistake.

3. Received a renewal statement in November. I'm unemployed so I could not come up with the $145.00 for the entire year. On the statement, there was a box you could check for a three month subscription. Cool I thought, only $35.00. I could handle that and sent them a money order thinking that was that. A few weeks later I received a bill from them for the balance of a years subscription. Seems they can only send you a statement if you have a year subscription.

Then why do give you a choice on the renewal statement for a month, 3 month, 6 month subscription? They told me I had to have a credit card on file for anything less than a years subscription.

There was no way I was going to leave on a credit card on file with them seeing how they screwed up several times before. So my subscription was canceled on December 17, 2008 and they were to issue me a check for the "unused" balance of $25.90 within 6 to 8 weeks.
It's 14 weeks later and no check! I've called them every 2 weeks since my cancellation. Each call seems to last about an hour and goes through about 4 reps.
I get the same story. It hasn't been issued yet. I know it hasn't been issued or I wouldn't be calling!

NEVER, EVER LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD ON FILE WITH SIRIUS. GET A STATEMENT!!!!

Mother of all creatures great and small, what the hell is wrong with this company!!!!
After 6 months waiting for a refund, they finally sent me a check for $10.60!
I also get a different story and runaround from the reps on why the amount is only $10.60 instead of the amount promised.

I loved Sirius when I had it. But dealing with the inept customer service reps and them overcharging my account EVERYTIME, it's not worth the hassle.

DON'T LEAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD ON FILE WITH SIRIUS/XM!!!
