Today I called serious xm radio to re-activate my service. My husband cancelled the service a few days ago because we saw a renewal charge on our credit card that was not support to take in effect until another 6 months. the first representative had sold us a 1 year subscription under an offer, and 6 months later we found out it was a lie. they charged my card for another subscription at a higher rate, when we called, the rep told us the subscritpion was only for 6 months. my husband was furious and had canceled it. Today I tried to give them another chance thinking we really had mis communicated the first time.
During my call to re-activate the service the sales today rep told me I had an offer to get two free radios at no charge with NO SUBSCRIPTION on top of my regular subscription Of $11 for the car. I asked numerous times if this had any extra charge, and she said NO, that this was a free gift With no commitment. An hour later, I received an email confirmation of the shipment of the radios and found out there is a subscription fee that comes with the radios of $62 a month. I called furious to cancel this and and tell them the rep had lied to me.this time they would not even take the cancelation.
The rep on the phone was not courteous , did not want to cancel because I had to wait to get the radios before I can cancel the order, even though this was ordered an hour ago without my consent. I did not cosent to have another subscription other than get the free gifts. She did not want to transfer me to a supervisor or to anyone in their corporate office to resolve this fraud. This is the Second lie, their representatives lie!! This is a true fraud!!!! It is all recorded, this people need to get suit for lying and deceiving their clients. Please do not order from them, I will cancel everything!!!
