I discovered a site known as Sitecube Website Builder (www.sitecube.com) who advertised a free trail of their website designer software. I was given 10 day free trail to "build my website".

I spent approximately 20 hrs on-line building a website using their tools. After I had done so, I was told I would have the option to purchase the program and put that site on-line at the end of the trail period. They contacted me on the 11th dy saying "your trail has expired, you can no longer access any of that content unless you purchase the sitecube program."

This is for a flash design website with photos and music. They advertise it will only cost $4.25/month. After I agreed to sign up, I was told the $4.25 option did not include the photo gallery or music and would have to shoose the $8.25 option not mentioned previously. After I agreed and had submitted my credit card information, upon checkout was told it was $8.25/month for a minimum of 12 months, to be paid upfront and oh by the way a never mentioned $30 "set-up" fee. After reluctantly paying $129.00 via Paypal (thinking that would assure some safety), I attempted to access the site the next day and it is gone.

I have tried every available web address for the company. There are no page-markers, parked addressess, or "page is down for maintenance" etc. The company has not responded to any of my e-mails and have seemed to have disappeared. Paypal is dragging their feet with the claim and have to allow week for the company to respond, which I think is ridiculous.

This is a scam, and the company does fraudulent advertising and deceptive promotions.

Why SITECUBE.com?

#2Consumer Suggestion

Thu, August 14, 2008

I am Nik and a happy client on sitecube.com.
My website has changed ever since I signed up with them.
I read a lot of negative reviews about the company. I was shocked when I read them before I signup.
My girlfriend insisted me to signup as she already used their services.
I consider that I was wish to try their 10 day free signup.

My Comments to Rockstar who has posted that they advertise $4.25 and sell it for $8.25.

I consider that to be smart advertising. Let me ask you a question. Did they not give you a choice to purchase yearly? They did...

Its you who have not went through their complete website to evaluate all features. I did read all the options they have under features page.
I am sure either you are dumb or want to just rip off any company you know.

My experience with the company is amazing and their support is excellent specially the chat help.
I would recommend this to everyone possible. I am also planning up to open a website where clients can post what they really feel about sitecube.com instead of just writing what they feel.

Best regards
A Very Happy Client Of Sitecube.com
