Complaint Review: SiteGround.com

SiteGround.com is one of the worst web hosts that I have dealt with and I have never had to leave any negative review for any company online - but I felt that the service they provided was so bad I needed to warn others.

Signing up with them was easy but actually running a website with them was next to impossible. They do not offer any useful free support at all - if you want competent people to help solve server issues then you have to pay for their "premium hosting" at about $70USD! Their tech support also takes much longer then other hosting companies and they provide very little help and forward you to different departments or categories to file your ticket under.

I initially thought they were an American company, but here's what I found out:

their server is in Germany
their whois info is in Panama
my credit card statement shows they are in Luxembourg

Well which is it? Looks like a company that doesn't want to be found. I am glad that I switched to a better more reliable and helpful host. I was only able to stay with SiteGround.com for a little over a month before I switched.

Im warning everyone who is thinking about signing up with them - no matter how cheap they are STAY AWAY FROM SITEGROUND.com!!!!
