Have you ever been up late finishing of some vital or important work, then on completion before hitting the sack you decide to take one more look at your security... So you doodle through the familiar bot and virus soft ware you have installed, while your waiting for them to run through you may take a quick peek at whats new and possibly look through shareware and freebies.

Wrong move...especially when you're over tired; that's how I got caught out. AND not for the first time either, "ha what a jerk" I hear you say. Well, that may be so but that's how it happens for me "over tired = stupid" sometimes.

I usually just get caught up in a down load that requires security cleaning, but this particular time I was drawn into a more elegant trap #1 most trusted MYSPYPROTECTOR, it's one of those free down load and scan interfaces. It really looks efficient when its doing its thing, it doesn't go over board on what it finds first time around either - it's very convincing.

The wost thing for me was that the company accepted my PayPal payment as an E cheque, alarm bells should have rang then even in my tired brain. You will not find many companies that will accept an E cheque in payment for software downloads, all the legit ones are to paranoid about non payment!

It took me 3 - 4 days to sus this sheep in woolves clothing, it turns out that it is its self malware of the worst kind! Great, this company had me paying them to download my own problems... It had messed with all my ligit spy and virus security and more I was key logged and Trojaned!

PS Please be carefull about what you down load and pay for, check things inside and out. Check the company name, logo or whatever you have - the chances are you'll come accross a site debunking it if it's a scam!
