A few months ago I took out a payday loan and after I did there has been may attempts on my bank account from many many companies The company which I did take a loan out with has been contacted by my bank with my new account information due to the fact that the bank closed my account because of bank fraud by these companies.

So a few nights ago I get a call from a man named SHerwin L Freeman who seemed to represent himself to me as an attorney to which I said was bs he wouldnt give me any info about the company to which he was representing or anything BUT If i send 722.20 to their company (sjm marketing who is some how entailed with Freedom national Bank(which I was told is in jacksonville Florida but is actually located in texas)

this man has told me that If i dont pay the 722 by this monday he will be forced to go down to the court house and file federal bank fraud charges against me and I will be arrested and charged with felony bank faraud for which I will go to jail.

This man has my husbands info as well as many family members to which he has told me that since there are in cahoots with me they will also be charged I would appreciate and help in this matter it seems to me that my bank info and pc has been hacked and now I dont know if they can really chrage me with anything or not I however feels that this is a toatl ripoff and Im getting screwed I am afreaid that my bank account is going to be hit again by these people and all the money I have saved for my sons college will be taken

My advice to you is do not pay another dime. These companies will threaten you with everything. You will not go to jail for defaulting on a payday loan. Especially in NC. They are ILLEGAL there . You need to send a complaint to your Attorney General consumer division as soon as possible. Close that bank account and dont give them another dime.
