Complaint Review: Skill Set Inc.

 Skill Set Inc. Skill Set Remodeling. Skillsetaz.com. Remodeling Contractor: I hired this company recently for a complete home remodel. I paid them more then half up front- I literally had issues from day one continuing to the very end. Contract stated they would put up a plastic barrier wall to retain dust etc., I paid for that service- and after repeated requests it was never done and numerous pieces of my furniture were in bad condition/ damaged and destroyed in the moving a furniture to install flooring and for practical purposes to keep the furnishing clean and safe. They left my furniture outside, uncovered, in the 110 degree weather and were fairly indifferent to my concerns. Their 'movers' threw some of my belongings in the dumpster even though they were all labeled for storage. Broken furniture, toilets, TV, dining table, curtains, nicks in end tables, etc., I also had to literally beg them to get the job done- which it wasn't. Office staff was abrupt and disrespectful. Over charges for certain work/chemical out in my pool was a $600 charge. Substandard paint job in areas like the main bathroom was never repainted- it looks like a matte finish if just primer. Other issues as well.
