I ordered a jar of moisturizer for 4.99. Was not aware that this was a free trial with a continued subscription and definitely did not see the true price. It was hidden somewhere in the fine print.  I received a next jar one month after with a charge of 94.90 to my credit card. I have no intention of using the product. I found no difference from a dollar store skin cream.

I called the company promising to return at my own shipping cost but they would not accept. They offer a 30% discount but I do not think I should be charged $54 for something I would not use.

When I called again and entered my phone number the automated attendant stated that my account is now cancelled and the call is ended. They had my money and had no more use for me.

I wish the Consumer Agencies in this country will work to make these types of transactions more transparent to the unsuspecting purchaser. It does more harm to the honest companies that add value to the economy. The few companies that use misleading tactics like these are allowed to get away with it.

I am going to try disputing with my Credit Card company. What a waste of time and resources but that's how these companies thrive because people do not want to go through the trouble of going through the hassles.
