I ordered skin royale by phone on December 10, and was told it was a free trial with just a shipping charge of $4.95. At the same time an unauthorized order was put in for eye royale, which I called back and cancelled. I received the package with no receipt or return instructions. In addition, I was never informed by the representative that there was a 14 day cancellation period. So I didn't know that I had to cancel within that time or be charged $89.95. When I called the company I was told it was too late to receive a refund. I told them I was never informed of this policy. They refused to listen to me and hung up on me. I then called my credit card company who put a temporary credit on my account. However, they rescinded the credit after dealing with the company with the same result. The company claimed that by giving them my credit card number I agreed to their terms and conditions, which is untrue, as I never was informed of them. At present, after contacting the company again with the same result, my recourse is to complain to the attorney general and the BBB in California.
