Skin Youth Enhanced Rip off, sneaky way of charging card, refusal to refund, "trial" means you will get charged if product not returned unopened within certain time Santa Monica California
This company ( Skin Youth Enhanced) offers a trial and the consumer pays only shipping. When I ordered I did not see anything about being charged the ridiculous anount of 85.97 for one product and 89.97 for another product after 14 days. Perhaps because I clicked on an advertisement that took me directly to a site to order instead of the homepage of company. It didn't seem as though there was a term of agreement on the order form. Yet I do see one now when I go to the website. I recieved my product which I also believed was only supposed to be "trial" size not regular 30 day size. I didn't even open the products when I realized the ingredients were not all natural and I was going send back and get my 5 dollars back. However its the holidays and I am single parent and also in the middle of moving and just spent a fortune moving and for car repairs. I finally was getting around to calling company to return product and looked at my bank statement and realized they charged me the 85.97 and 89.97. I called the company and the guy said I agreed to the terms so I could cancel but I would only be refunded 15 percent. I told him I am returning an unopened product and I want full refund. He argued with me for about 20 min and finally agreed to refund my card once they get product back. I'm worried they still won't refund me fully and/or say they recieved product opened. This deduction out of my account couldnt come at a worse time. Had I known they would charge me I would have never ordered the trial product. Im going to have to cancel my card because I do not like the thought of this company having my information. Which is an inconvenience as many of my bills are automatically linked to this card. Final words Do not order any products from this company unless you're ok with giving them 180 a month and like arguing with customer service that is apparently not U.S. based. This company should be called Skin Stressed Enhanced because after dealing with them I feel as though I've aged 20 years!
