I made the mistake of responding to an email solicitation for an inexpensive trial of Skinfresh MD moisturizing cream for my wife.  It was around $6.99 for the trial.  What I did not know was that this charlatan of a company would automatically sign me up for two monthly subsriptions at a cost of about $97 and $92.  You read that right, not annual subscriptions, but monthly subscriptions.

The charges started appearing about a week after I received the trial products.  I cancelled the subscriptions via automatced phone with SkinFresh MD.  Next, I went directly to my credit card company website and disputed the charges. The next day, another charge appeared pending on my credit card statement.  The cancellation, therefore, was not real.  I received a fraud alert from my credit card company and called them person to person this time.

I issued stop payments on all three charges and I am currently in monitoring mode.  Once this clears up, I will cancel this card and acquire a new one.

 

It turns out that the fine print is buried under a mountain of legalise in the terms of acceptance attached to the purchase.  No person on this planet would ever expect to read through that material to find some obscure reference to financial responisbility in the event you do not opt out.  It should be that you have an option to opt in rather than automatically being signed up. This is deceptive, unethical, immoral and downright criminal.

Do not order anything remotely resembling the name, Skinfresh MD, NATURALLYYOUTHFULSKIN, or 

PROMOTEHEALTHGLOW.  They are criminals who should be prosecuted.
