Complaint Review: SkinLogic and Eyetensive

SkinLogic and Eyetensive Skinlogic and Eyetensive misinformed that they would charge 89.00 plus if you did not contact them after using the product for 14 days. What happened to Misinformed also happened to me. I had made what I understood to be a free purchase and that I would only be responsible for shipping and handling. I did not realize that this would be a recurring order where I would be charged $89.95 and $86.95 for the two items I received. Santa Ana California

 The same thing happened to me April 2015 as it did to Misinformed 2014 the following is exactly what happened to me her words "I had made what I understood to be a free purchase and that I would only be responsible for shipping and handling. I did not realize that this would be a recurring order where I would be charged $89.95 and $86.95 for the two items I received.  When I called the phone number listed to get a refund, the first option I get is to cancel my order. (Hmmm, sounds like they get a lot of them).  So I did cancel my order. The automated system confirmed my cancellation, gave me a confirmation number and hung up.  When I called back they ask for the phone number used to place the initial order. When I entered that number, it told me that my account has been cancelled and the call was stopped. I tried calling again hoping to get customer service, so this time I did not enter my phone number. Interesting that there is a looong pause between the initial request for the ordering phone number and the next option which was to speak to a customer service representative. Hallelujah, finally!  I entered the prompts given and nothing.  I mean there is absolute silence on the phone. Unlike most automated systems where it usually says "thank you for calling _______. A customer service representative will be with you shortly."  There was nothing but an abysmal silence. I waited for a minute or two and gave up realizing that this company really has no intention of providing good customer service.  It really is a shame that the only information that this company gives is the one that is intended to steal from you."

The company should be sued for doing this.
