I purchased a piece of exercise chair from a company and through a billing glitch (or ten), even though I was paying for it in monthly installments, it still went to collections. At that point I decided to return the chair, even though it was 6 months out of warranty. I didn't want to have anything to do with this company and they were understanding and agreed to let me send it back for a full refund.

Meanwhile, s****.> The agents are unbelievably rude, and hang up on me when they don't like what I am saying. This company lies to me about everything. Every day I am told that if I don't pay today, my case will be sent to a higher level and it will affect me.They don't tell me what it will affect. It isn't my credit, as the company I purchased from does not report to the credit bureaus.

When I informed them that I was sending the chair back, they told me, Don't do that. They won't give you a refund. They are lying. If I were you, I would keep it and just pay us. I don't think so. I went back and got a third confirmation that my refund was happening, so these people are just lying. Don't believe anything they tell you.

I made sure not to deal with them back before I knew they weren't legitimate, and that instinct has proved to be right on.
