Complaint Review: SKY PETS SHIPPERS

I have been caught in a pet scam on GUMTREE by SKY PETS SHIPPERS on contact the person regarding the Pekingese puppies all seemed legit, received and email with instructions of what to do next with a micro chip number username and password in order to track the puppy.

I made a payment of 160 Pounds as a MoneyGram through the Post Office, then I called to give the reference number of the payment and to my surprise received a further email for a payment of 610 Pounds for insurance, I then smelt a rat and refused to make any futher payments, I mentioned that I would call the RSPCA for advise and then they mentioned that I could pay 380 Pounds for the puppy.....  I am continually asked to call back in 15 minutes and not getting anywhere when I decided to google SKY PETS SHIPPERS and read all the RIP OFF articles.

I am glad that I have only lost 160 Pounds but cannot understand how people are getting away with this on GUMTREE surely these people are checked before being allowed to advertise especially PETS.  I will never make the same mistake although now we cannot purhase a puppy as our money is gone!!

I do hope no more people are caught out by this and I will be contacting the Police and the Post Office to see if I can get a refund.

Please be warned and always ensure that you purchase a puppy face to face...... I was just soooo excited as I wanted another Pekingese that I didn't see the woods for the trees.
