I was contacted by phone about making money from home with a website that was to be an affiliate of the Fortune 500 companies such as Walmart, Walgreens, Amazon, Best Buy...you name it.  The lady I spoke with was named Harriet.  She was very pleasant and convincing.  I asked many questions because I didn't want to be scammed.  She told me that for $105 they would design my very own website, maintain it, and handle all orders.  My only job would be to give them the $105 to set it up and sit back and wait for the checks to come in.  She said that when people ordered from these stores from my website, I would get a percentage of the sales and when the sales reached a total of $3500....I would get my $105 back.  They had a 30 day money back guarantee if I wasn't satisfied with the checks I would be receiving.  I told her I didn't want to be scammed and I wanted to know "Why did these companies need me?"  I wasn't doing anything.  She told me that it was a tax write off for them and more and more people are doing their shopping online....so they wanted me to hand out business cards to get people to go to my website versus going to the stores.  She made me sit down in front of my computer and look up their website to see that it was legitamate.  I did and it all looked real.  While we were talking, I searched for SCAM SKYLINK USA.  Nothing came up except for different companies with the same name....but no web mall.  So I assumed everything was real.  I gave her my credit card information and she told me her supervisor would be calling to verify everything.  She even gave me a customer service number if I had any questions (88829955176).  She told me I didn't have to do anything if I didn't want to and I could make an average of $1500 per month....but they have professional advertising coaches that would contact me and see if I wanted to make more money.  They would coach me free of charge.  They set up the appointment for the following week (phone appt.)  When I hung up with Harriet, the supervisor (I don't remember her name) called me to get my permission to go ahead and charge my credit card.  At the same time I was talking to her, my cell phone started ringing (I was on my home phone), and I had my daughter answer it.  It was my credit card company warning of a possible scam because I have had my credit card numbers stolen at least once a year.  So the credit card company was trying to make sure I was making this purchase.  My daughter told them yes and they hung up.  Well, after I hung up with Skylink Supervisior, I started re-thinking this whole thing.  I started looking up info on the computer and couldn't find anything except this webpage they sent me to where you could sign up for more information.  There was nothing you could click on to get more information.  I called the customer service number and it rang twice and had a recording to leave a message.  It has been a week with no return call.  I called back the number where Harriet called me from....and it was a disconnected number.  I realized I had been scammed and called my credit card company to stop the transaction.  Thank God, they did it.  Today....a week later...I get the call from the advertising coach.  I told him that I had been scammed and stopped the transaction.  He was insulted and asked me how I knew I was scammed and they were a legitimate company.  I told them I found out on the BBB and he told me that he would give me a history lesson and then he would hang up and refund my money.  He said the BBB is a scam and was started by Al Capone to rip people off.  He was very huffy and insulted and hung up.  I went to Rip off Report to see if I could find them I couldn't find them under Skylink, but I typed in Web Mall and found other names they used with the very same scam they were using on me.  They were all from Phoenix.  I found out that the coaches scammed people into giving them their life savings and never return their calls.  Here are some of the names they gave me as coaches, which I think are not real because I saw that one of them (David Anderson) was associated with Skylink Airline.  David Johnson, Gail Peterson, Steven, Gregory, David Anderson.  I am hoping that by reporting them under their new scam name  it will help people out there to keep their hard owned money.  I pray that no one else gets fooled by them or anyone else.  Take this advice....if a company is legitimate they will allow you to make all the phone calls and websearching you want to check them out.  They have nothing to lose and nothing to hide, but your trust to gain if you feel the need to check them out thoroughly.  If they tell you you need to sign up today or it will be too late, etc.  or anything against allowing you to thoroughly check them out.....they are scammers.  God bless.

Skylink USA contacted me today with the exact same story, and I noticed the caller ID read "N Point Serv". After a lot of digging online, I believe that Skylink USA is the same company as North Point Web Mall. The Arizona BBB has identified this company as an alias of West Gate Media, LLC... which has a rating score F.

PLEASE contact the Phoenix BBB at 602-264-1721 or online at arizonabbb.com to file a complaint - they said it may take a few more inquiries before they can open a file on the company.
