In January of 2007 I booked a cabin rental online with Sleepy Bear Cabin Rentals. I paid 377.78 for this rental which was taken out of my account under the name Lumberjack Cabins. 2 days prior to arrival (Feb. 14, 2007) the owner, Nicole Tibbs, called me and cancelled my reservation. She told me the owner of the cabin had suddenly taken the cabin off the market. I received a refund of 377.78 on Feb. 16, 2007.

On Feb.20, 2007 they took the money back out of my account under the name Sleepy Bear Cabins. The next day all business phone #'s were disconnected. I disputed this at my bank with MASTERCARD and received a refund on Feb.28, 2007 from Mastercard. On March 07, 2007 Mastercard took the money back out of my account because the refund was already given by Sleepy Bear Cabins.

I filed another dispute on March 08, 2007 this time against Lumberjack Cabin rentals. The bank told me I will probably receive the refund again but it will most likely be taken out again by Mastercard. The owner of Sleepy Bear Cabins, Nicole Tibbs, was arrested in January by agents of the IRS and let out on 75.000 bond.

At the time I booked the cabin it was already in foreclosure and Nicole Tibbs was very well aware of that. I filed a complaint with the Tennessee Real Estate Commission and encourage other victims to do so too. If they would have revoked her licence like they were supposed to, all this would not have happened.
