Sleepy's DISGUSTED!!!! Hoboken, New Jersey
I bought a mattress from Sleepy's about six years ago. When it started to really fail recently (it is like sleeping in a hot dog bun....my back is killing me!!) I called to ask for a warranty inspection to see if there was anything we could do....I'd paid 1500 dollars for the mattress and was so upset that it hadn't lasted longer. I started calling Sleepy's LAST JULY and they never got a warranty person to me. They kept lying and telling me someone would call me from a company called Bed Check, which I really do not believe exists. By mid-September (I'd been calling at LEAST twice a week since July 1) I was so upset that I called Sleepy's ONE LAST TIME. The customer service supervisor, Jaquita, told me to go to the local Sleepy's and she'd help me with an exchange. When I got to the Hoboken, NJ Sleepy's (that is my local store) I was told that I only had an 800 dollar credit AND THAT I COULD ONLY USE IT ON A TEMPURPEDIC MATTRESS....AND ONLY THE "GRAND" MATTRESS....WHICH IS SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!!! Is it even LEGAL to force someone to buy something so expensive? Well, I didn't get the mattress (I'm a teacher; a $7,000 dollar mattress is out of the question, obviously). THEY still have my store credit, and I'm going elsewhere to get my mattress. They can shove the store credit, and you all know where.
SLEEPY'S IS THE MOST DISGUSTING BUSINESS ON THE PLANET. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.
