We purchased our set back in 2001. After a year and half, the side my husband sleeps on started to sag, so we flipped it over as recommended. In 2005, we moved it to re-paint the bedroom. Husband is 6 feet tall and I'm 5 feet tall. The mattress itself is a king size 21 inches wide and pillow top on both sides. It's very hard for me to help him move the mattress. Unfortunately, he had to drag it out of the bedroom which caused a little damage to the corner of the mattress.

When I called their 800 number, I explained what's wrong with the mattress, the sagging to one side but both side on both side of the mattress and when he ask if there was any stains, I was honest and said that there is a slight stain on the corner of the mattress from being dragged because I couldn't carry it. They instantly told me that we voided the warrenty. "No cuts or stains must be visible in order to replace the mattress". Which then I asked "are you planning on reselling it?" They said "no, we do not resell beds," but after 8 years of wear, a $1500 set later, they can't replace it?

We paid for the warranty and they can't replace it? I don't care who's warranty it is (mfg or deal), we bought it at Sleepy's and they should replace it, no matter in what condition it is. Especially after so many years.

Don't buy expensive beds with the warranty unless you plan on never moving it, or taking it out of the plastic bag, especially at Sleepy's.
