I purchased a very nice mattress and was told it came with two pillows, a mattess over and a bedframe  The selling cost was 3500.00 When I later looked at the invoice, I realized I was charged 99.00 for the required cover or the lifetime warrant was void.  I was also charded 160.00 for the two pillows and 89.99 for the bedframe.  This was an additional 350.00 for an alread vry expensive mattress.  the mttres was delvered a few days later which is when I noticed these charges on the invoice.   I slept on this attress for less than 8 hours and realized it was too soft and that my body indented into the floo.  called Sleepy's less than 24 hours after delvery and was told the only way to exchange the mattress was to pay a 399.00 exchange fee and a 100.00 delivery fee.  The 3500.00 mattress has become a 4500.00 mattress.  I love the mattress, but the service and sales techniques are deceptive and unfair.

I managed to find an affordable and comfortable mattress at the Sleepy's in New York.  They floored me when they said they could deliver it te next day, which was a Saturday.  They even charged just 30 dollars to take the old mattress and box spring away.

I should have known there was a catch.

On Saturday, August 8th, the mattress set came, but the men DID NOT take the mattress and box spring to the curb as promised.  They left them by my landlord's steps and wuld not take them further. There was no explanation.  We tried tot alk to them, but they yelled at us and became verbally abusive.  Then they left.

As my landlady freaked out, I moved the mattress and box spring to the curb.  That was a huge mistake.  Within the hour, I was on my way to the emergency room at Coney Island Hospital with a severe back sprain.

I never even got an apology from Sleepy's andit took over a month to get the removal charges refunded.  They ensured that next time we need a bed, we won't go to them!
