I purchased a Queen-Waldorf mattress from Sleepy's in Saddle River, NJ on 5/12/2008 (approx 16 mos ago-Inv#05128SRLIAM) and after 9 mos, I began to feel the mattress was developing a huge deep indentation in the center. After contacting them and having their 'inspection', I find out that they will only replace the box spring because the flaw it is only 1 3/8 inch deep instead of the needed 1.5 inches.


As a result of my inspection, only the box spring (for which they want to charge me $89.99 delivery PLUS $14.99 to remove the old box spring that is defective) is being offered to be replaced. Even though the mattress is clearly sunken right in the center, they are suggesting I wait another 60-90 days to get a re-inspection to see if I meet their 1.5 inch deep indentation to have both mattress/box spring replaced (who knows at what cost). I only weigh 125 lbs and sleep alone. Why am I spending time out of work , making phone calls, staying home to wait for inspections/deliveries AND paying to have them re-deliver a product they know is defective and that I already paid almost $900 for.


I am requesting a full refund of my $900 or complete replacement of the mattress.  I have reported to the BBB and will continue to pursue other avenues until this is resolved.
