Complaint Review: Sleepy's Mattress

A report about the sighting of a hole was placed with Sleepy's. They gave me a hard time setting up an inspection. I had to write a detailed letter explaining the problem, and demanding an inspection.

An inspecter came out checked the mattress. A week later were notified that our mattress would not be replaced, and that our warranty has been voided. The problem with this is that (2) 150 lb adults sleep on this mattress, there are no children in our home and we don't so much as have any visitors.

We have had our full zip close vinyl bed cover on the mattress covering this bed and it shows no signs of damage what-so-ever. Our bedframe is proper according to standards of the warranty.

This is unjust and I refuse to sit around while a Corporate giant makes off with $2000 of my money on an 8 month old mattress. They also had the audacity to offer to sell me another mattress despite me having unresolved issues with this one.

A letter has been forwarded to The BBB and we are currently awaiting a response from Sleepy's.. I am currently working on a second complaint letter which will find itself to Sleepy's corporate offices, as well as Serta. I plan to continue to fight this aggressively.
