Complaint Review: Slender Life Weightloss And Body Wrap Centers

In October of 2005 I was sold a package of 22 Body Shaping wraps by a sales asscoiate named Karen at the Cape Coral Branch of Slender Life. At the time I was not given the option of purchasing just one wrap to try.

After the first wrap I spoke to Karen about some concerns I had with the process including some itching after the wrap. She encourged me to try another, which I did not do until February of 2006. After my second wrap I experienced the same discomfort and dislike of the process.

I called the facility to discuss a refund of the money for services not rendered and was told it was not possible. I then asked for all of the information in my folder and anything I had signed, as well as the names of the mangager at the time the slaes associate which were withheld.

I recieved only three sheets of paper and the one that I signed that is titled Slender Life Body Wraps Policy makes no mention of refund policies whatsoever.

I am NOT disputing the payment fo the two bodywraps I had done, although dissatisfied with the process. By my calculation I paid $800 for 20 wraps plus 2 free. If I disregard the two free offer that comes out to $40 per wrap, two being used that would be &80 paid for services rendered, and $720 being held without refund for services that were NOT rendered, creating NO time or money demand on the part of the company.
