Complaint Review: Sly Tek

I manage several IT clients in NE Ohio. Two of them now have used the company Sly Tek for their IT needs and came to me to help regain control of their own networks and cloud services previously under the control of Sly Tek. Frankly, they are doing unethical things. When my latest client severed ties, they did so without knowing the proper steps to take to assure they still retained access to their web site and cloud email services.

Sly Tek has turned off access to the mail, likely deleting the mail system, and modified all of the domain host records to break pubic access to their web site. I am lodging this in their place because Sly Tek should not be able to get away with this behavior. I am currently working with the the providers of the services (the web host CloudFlare and cloud mail service Microsoft) to gain access to the administrative tools for those services.

It is strongly urged that any steps that can be taken to force them to take better corrective action instead of destructive action can be done on your part would go a long way to helping my client and all others I assume would be used as hostages by Sly Tek.
