On January 7, 2006 my wife and I saw an ad on TV featuring Chef Tony and his Smartware cookware. My wife called and ordered one set in blue. She had to go through 3-4 other sales pitches for magazines, trips etc. while on the phone and kept saying I only want one set in blue. She was told it would take 4-6 weeks to get blue.

On January 16th, I checked our checking account online and found they had charged us for 2 sets instead of one. I called the 800 customer service number and was assured that it was okay to cancel the order because it was wrong and to refuse it when it came and they would credit us 100% including shipping & handling when the order came back to them.

I went to my bank and they sent a letter to Slymark requesting the whole amount back. I also wrote the CEO and Slymark called and left a message on my answering machine that they got my letter and I was getting a 100% refund including the shipping & handling.

On Feb 14th, my bank statement showed they did not the refund $42.69 for the S/H. I called their Slymark office again and the service rep, a rude young lady, talked over me and refused to let me talk with her supervisor or give me her name. She then left me on hold for over 5 minutes. I called back again and was immediately disconneted.

I Emailed the CEO this time, but never received a response back. I will file a claim again with my bank and the BBB. Slymark ripped us off and we don't even have any good or bad product to show for it. Never buy from the Slymark Corp, they are wolves in Chef's clothing.

After contacting the Better Business Bureau, Smartware finally paid us back the final $42.00 for shipping and handling for aproduct we never received. They said sorry, but they still never addressed the other main issue of bad/rude service at all levels of customer service we had contacted. We are just happy it is over.
