Complaint Review: Smail Auto Group Collision Center

I was rear ended two weeks ago in April 24; it was a lowspeed impact with only scratches on the bumper and broken support tabs underneath. The other insurance company paid for the replacement and a rental car while mine was fixed.  I pick up my car on Friday May 11, 2012 and looked over the car I noticed a gap on the passenger side and rough edges of plastic on the bumper from the mold. 

Sam, a manager/supervisor at the collision center stated that it would be fixed on Monday May 14, 2012. The gap is gone but the rough edges are still there and I was told that that is how the bumper is made and to fix the issue I will have to contact the insurance company. The insurance company told me that they would pay for any additional damage from the accident but not what the repair facility failed to do.

Any one that has experience with plastics, which is a must in body work today, would know to sand the molding off before painting. The sharp edges will cause the paint to peel.  Sam said on Monday, May 14 2012 he would have to talk to the car loan out department to get me a car for the day that would be needed to fix the issue. Was this another lie?  It is now 24 hrs since I heard from Sam.  This could have been another lie to get me to be quiet?

All I ask is for the rough edges to be sanded and repainted. The bumper should have been looked over for imperfections to ensure quality work.
