Small Business Advisors Always asking for more money after initial payment is made and nothing gets done Las Vegas, Nevada

They called me initially promising assistance in getting an SBA loan for my small business.  I paid them $400 for help in getting an SBA loan for my startup business.  I reviewed the papers they needed me to sign and it was only for permission to review my credit and for authorization on the checks I gave them.  They repeatedly said that I'll get all this money back at the end of the year in taxes if I write "Business Credit" in the memo section of the check.

I was supposed to send them more financial information, about 6 pages worth, but I never got around to filling it out and sending it to them.

They call me a week later saying they reviewed the information I sent (which I didn't) and that I qualify for a larger loan, but they need $1400 to write up a special SBA business plan.   I mentioned I already have a business plan written and I would supply that to them, but they said it wasn't sufficient.  I refused to send more money and ended the call.

They called me back 2 weeks later saying once again, they reviewed my account papers (which I never sent into them) and they are suggesting I go with a Premier Incorporated SBA loan so I can get a bigger loan.  They wanted a check for $800 now for the submission of the special premier SBA loan paperwork.  I refused to send any money as I don't have it.  They again said I will get all this money back because Obama is giving these loans away for free.  I refused to send more money and asked for a refund of my initial $400.  They refused saying work was done on my account to process paperwork.  I mentioned how I never sent it in and they promptly ended the call.

I called the main toll free number off their website and asked about the process to get a refund.  They said it needs to submitted in writing but they reviewed my account and any work that was done will be deducted from my initial payment.  I have written up a request for a full refund and will be submitting it to them shortly.

I just posted the EXACT same post you did here...

Looks like we got screwed at the same time.

Well, they asked for it, wasted both of our times, now it's time to let the world know this company is what you call a "FEE HUNTER".

I believe what they are doing has to be illegal, bait and switch?

I'm so upset at how rude their person treated me, that I've taken their response as a personal attack, and now considering giving the thousands of dollars they wanted from me, to my friend who is a lawyer, that would find my case what some call "very interesting". I would love to also keep you in the loop as it seems our company is not the only one.

Thanks for sharing!
