On August 13th, 2018 I received a call from Issac.  He said he was doing an audit to our credit card merchant services.  I was new in June and assumed this was prearranged by my predicessor.  After he asked for my statement (Red flag) and I provided he claimed that my problem was a was listed as a retailer and should be changed to wholesaler.  He said that will save me lots of money.

I said great can you send me an email to provide me with these details in writing.  He did.  the breakdown showed me that the rates were lower and the monthly statement fee was half of what was paying.  Looked good and i asked if I could review with my manager and let him know.   I did and gave him the go ahead.

Next thing i know i am being asked to get signing authorization for the owner.  I did.  then he said because of the patriot act i must provide him with my personal information.  I said i did not want to do that and he insisted.  In a matter of minutes he sent me the docusign contract.  He stayed on the line and kept pressuring me to keep signing.  I signed a lease for a Clover Mini for $189.00 month/ 48 months. He eventually  sent me the signed contracts with a list of fees and other costs that i would incure.

less than a month later, I was still under the impression i was going to save money and asked him if he could also change us over to SBGA for the POS websites.  Long story short, he convinced me that i needed two more Minis at a much reduced cost. $39.99 for 48 months  i said no, and even called them to stop delivery.  They arrived and are still in the box. No one will return my calls.

i called yesterday to let them know i did not use or open the Clover and wanted to return the device. I was sent a letter saying that it will cost the business $1853.37 for each contract buy out.  its $495 for the termination fee for the Merchant Services each.

Do not ever take a call from SBGA.  If you have answers to my problem, i would love to hear them.
