I received a call from the Small Business Network offering me a credit card for my small business among other benefits. They told me that they would need my bank account number to debit it $99.95 to set up the account. I never give anyone my account number over the phone but they sounded legitimate so I did. They told me that they were going to send me information about the SBN and that I should receive it within the next few days. After a week, it never arrived either by mail or eMail so i called them. They told me that it should be there soon. After another few days I called again and complained that I still haven't seen anything. Finally, on March 5, after 13 days, I received an email. I should have read the fine print but I didn't until I found out that they debited my account for $239.40 which was for the entire year's monthly membership ($19.95 monthly) in advance. I called them but they told me that they have a recording of the terms and conditions that I supposedly agreed to. They talk so fast that it's hard to understand half of what they are saying. They have refused to give me back my money.

This is not a good way of doing business and I will take legal action against this company for their deceptive business practices. So if you get a call from the Small Business Network, hang up!
