Don't plan your day around these guys! I spoke with James numerous times before my move. His company had come recommended so I felt assurance everything would go as planned.

James informed me the first truck (we needed 2) would arrive at 8AM and the second about an hour later. We got the kids up early, finished preparing, and were ready at 8AM. Just after 8 I received a call from James that they would be a little late since they had to de-ice the trucks (we had an inch of snow the night before). No problem. He said the first truck would arrive at 9AM and the second at 9:15AM. After 9 came and went I called James again. He said he would call the driver and have him get back in touch with me. 15 minutes later he called to say he wouldn't be there until 10:30AM! They showed up at 10:40AM. The worst part is, James had said all along that they left their home base before 8AM. After arriving at 10:40, the driver said they were on the road for an hour and a half - that didn't add up.

After a very long day which was delayed over 2.5 hours and created issues with other appointments in our new house later that day, the job was done. The lead guy wrote up the bill and tried to overcharge us for the trip home; I explained his inaccuracy and he changed it. He also wrote up the bill with a start time of 10:30 which he tried to explain away. After a long day, I let that go.

I did however call James since he said he would take care of some billing for our issue. His offer was 5% off. The problem was he gives everyone a coupon for 5% off already so he was trying to get away with wasting over 2.5 hours of our time plus the issues his company created.

In the end, it was an extremely frustrating day and a few days after the move was over and we settled in, I sent James a note to let him know of our frustration and disappointment and the fact that he really didn't seem to care. Here was his response: "     ".

That is not an error - he never replied...

To the person that wrote the report,

We are sorry that your move did not go as planned. We had a few situations that day due to snow, ice and drivers. Your move was completed without any damage to any of your items and were handled professionally. At the end of the day for a completed move with a discount and loosing 2.5 hours of your day does not sounds like a horrible experience. Read reviews from other moving companies with claims of stolen items, damaged furniture, and at times never even showing up. We do apologize for what had happened but we are not a company that rips people off. EVER.  This is the only bad review we had received in over 10 years of business and serving thousands of clients.
