Complaint Review: Smartdrifters in Dadeland Mall

 Prior to Thanksgiving our family saw the Smartdrifters display in the mall. We chose to purchase the a new item, except when they showed us the product it was all scratched and out of a duffle bag and no box!!! It seemed used to me and I refused to take the item presented. I told them the price which is twice as much - which I later came to find out I expect a day paid for a new item not a refurbished product. They did not have anything available as all of their product seemed used and nothing going was in a box. The wheels were worn, and hoverboard was scratched everywhere. I said cancel my transaction and reverse it I don't want it, they refused. They would not listen, and wanted me to forcibly take an item that was definitely used. I called the manager who would not show his face while at the counter in the mall and he refused to return our $900!!!! I refused to take the product, and called my bank to report this matter and filed a complaint against them with the BBB. My bank came back today offering no protection and after 3 months reversed the transaction CAPITAL ONE did not protect me knowing that I had not taken possession of the product that day and knowing the product was not new. These people are thieves and people should beware not to get ripped off like we did!!!! They cannot be trusted and they offer no solutions other then giving you the same garbage. Plus they are knockoffs with no quality and they are dangerous!!!
