SmartSuites, Go Smart Suites and Harry's Pacific Grill LLC DON'T LEASE SPACE HERE! THE BUILDING IS IN FORECLOSURE! Corona, California

This buiding is in foreclosure and has been for several months. Check title company to get up to date information on foreclosure status. They are leasing out space and not disclosing they are in foreclosure! The building has been broken into twice since we've been there, individual offices had items stolen from them. We've had problems with phones, networking, heating and a/c, etc.

We wouldn't have renewed our lease if we had know this building was in foreclosure. We asked to change our lease to a month to month once we found out they were in foreclosure and they refused. The last month of our lease, we asked them to use our security deposit (which more than covers our rent) for last months rent, they refused.

When we wouldn't pay them the last months rent and again asked to use our security depsosit, they turned off the heat, phones, internet access and our door fob became inactive. We were unable to operate our business.

We were afraid had we paid the rent, we would have had a hard time collecting our security deposit since it's obivious they are just collecting money and not paying their mortgage. I would be very careful if considering leasing office space here. Check to see if it's under new ownership first. The building is poorly managed and maintained and the management doesn't work well with small business owners.

I can only laugh when I read the attached report.

I know who this person is that is reporting this business.  I moved into the building around the same time that they did and watched their business grow aggressively.  They even renewed their lease and took the largest suite in the building, things must have been good for them at the time.  I can tell you that "Diane" that is reporting that is a false name.

I can tell you that this client is Maureen Parniani, and the fact that she came to my office when the building manager wasn't in to tell me what trouble the business is in and that I should be moving out confirms who wrote this.  I know she is a real estate agent, but she went door to door putting notices in offices about the building and spoke to a few of us that she came into contact with.

I have spoken to a few of my real estate friends in town since this has happened and I understand that the Parniani business isn't doing so well.  My guess is that they wanted out of their lease as their personal business isn't doing very well.

I get the entire buyer beware philosophy, but I can tell you as a client of Smart Suite for a couple of years now, I can't see myself anywhere else.  There is a new owner of the business and they have invested some money into the building.

If you choose to follow the review this is attached to, then you are missing out, but I understand.  I will tell you that I am happy and seeing that an unethical real estate agent posted something like this really bothered me when I heard about it from a friend and I felt I had to write something.

If the person who is going to write a negative review is going to do so, stand up and use your real name "Diane", but don't come to my office trying to convince me to follow you in your mistakes.
