SMC Seven phone numbers all of which are constantly on hold. Simi Valley California
SMC is the least attractive company to deal with. Their telephone numbers are constantly overloaded to the point where a 2 hour wait on hold is quite normal.
If an individual tries to opt out of their program the constantly busy phone lines are a great ploy to ensure that the 30 day limit on opting out is long past, thereby allowing SMC to continue charging your bank account or credit card. I followed their instructions regarding cancelling my membership and was told by a company representative that faxing the letter of cancellation would be 'just fine'. However they are still charging my credit card even though I cancelled my membership within 3 days of receiving their membership package.
I have tried in vain to contact SMC. I've tried every number available for them. I have also e-mailed them my cancellation..twice!!!The fax was also sent twice. I don't know which part of NO they don't get.
The phone numbers are used more for the company representative Kerry Cox to twitter on about the products than for actual business. I can hear that voice in my nightmares. Basically dealing with SMC is one big nightmare.
Interestingly, while on hold the lines crossed and I wound up speaking to yet another customer of SMC with the same problems that I am having. As far as I'm concerned I would advise anyone considering dealing with SMC, to just NOT get involved. By their own actions they are adept rip-off artists.
