Smith Bros claims to have a 10 year warranty on work and workmanship. Specifically, they claim that when they instal brick pavers around a pool, they will not settle at all becasue of the way that smith bros installs them. The problem is that they settle and started to sink in one spot.

Since we bought the house about 6 months ago, the previous owners contacted smith bros to repair the problem but with closing and the weather changing, Smith bros, told the previous owners to have us call when the pool was opened and the weather was nice.

We contacted today and were told rather rudely by "Debbie" that the 10 year warranty only applies to the original purchaser. (Why the h*ll didnt you state this when the previous owner asked for th erepair). But she was so kind enough to say that they can send someone out to give us a "free" estimate to repair it.

So let me get this straight. Its a free repair for the original purchaser who you told to have us call back when the pool is opened and now there is a charge.

HOW DECEPTIVE IS THAT!!!

Whats worse than not honoring "your ten year warranty" is the way you handled the situation.
Quality customer service......NOT!
Standing behind your work......NOT!

If you are getting landscaping or hardscaping done by this company, please think twice!!

Confusion!!

Well, after many calls back and forth, the previous owner now says that Smith Bros did not install the brick work. she says she was confused.IMy apologies for starting this report and Smith Bros.

However, the women who does customer service for Smith Bro's is absolutely horrible. Had she done a better job herself, maybe by looking in her computer to see if the address was worked on, this would not have ended up here in the first place. She could have diffused the situation, but instead added fuel to the fire.

Again., my apologies for the confusion.
