I was called by a guy man Jason Smith on January 19th stating that I owe a PDL money because I wrote a bad check. I had already had a payment arrangement with the company that my balance would be paid by the end of the month. When he called he was very rude wouldn't let me tell him about my arrangement, said I was lying and why shoul dbe believe me. Hung up and attempted to call me several more times back to back on my home and cell phones threating me with leagal action. Told me if I didn't go to a local Wal-Mart right away they would have no chose to prosucute. SO I sent them 360 dollars of my 410 balance that day. Told him I would not have the rest till next Thursday. He attempted to tell me what I was going to do.

The next week he not only called my parents house everyday with the same threating phones calls but my house hold but also my job. He later call me the Thursday I was going to payoff my balance and told me to pay him by the end of the week. When I paid my balance I called him and told him my balance is paid and they he can seize the phone calls he told me I was suppose to pay it by the end of his week which was Friday. I told him he has his money and if he wants to send back my 410 dollars and continue with proscution then he could do so. But I was no longer going to have him call my house nor my relatives saying the thing he was saying. These people need to be stop. he told me had done a background check and everything. These collection agencies are getting ruthless.

YOU WERE SCAMMED!!

These scammers are all over the internet and news - THEY WERE NOT COLLECTING A VALID DEBT! The money you wired them did not go to the place you owed money too. Call the place where the check bounced and ASK!

If you had done any research on debt collections - you would have discovered the threats and calling others about you IS ILLEGAL for even a legit collector to do.
