The email I received in response to a housing wanted ad on craigslist (they're definitely not very original scam artists, cause they just copy and paste the same stupid email to people all over the country):

I think I have what you are looking for in albany. My business is looking
for a manager on one of our developments. This entails keeping an eye on the 
place and contacting our main office when any maintenance is required. In 
return for helping us with this, the property is available with no rent for the 
duration of your stay.
