Smith's Furniture ripped me off 2 ways and WON'T make it right false promises the business that doesn't give a d**n Louisville Kentucky

I ordered new furniture and appliances from them to the tune of nearly $5000 (all in one day). When delivery day came the delivery guys ripped my laundry room linoleum in 4 places, stained my carpet with grease, and stole my cordless rechargable drill. These were the things that weren't fixed by the company. The other problems, including missing furniture they did make right later.

I complained, and the company agreed to "make it right" and the asst. manager told me that one of the delivery guys shouldn't have even been delivering for them because of his habit of taking things from houses.
This same delivery guy came back a second time, incidentally.

For nearly 2 years I have been hearing lies and half truths about how they are going to "make it right". They aren't they won't and they could care less about customer service.

I will never buy anything from them again, and tell every single person that I meet what total scam artists they are. Even a VP at their corporate offices wouldn't do anything. The store manager who assured me he would personally handle it (right, Mike!) won't even return my calls.

Pleases me to no end to buy the rest of my furniture from other stores (spending $15,000). I lost here, but THEY are the LOSERS!!
