I placed an order at smkw.com and paid for Fed-ex ground shipping. I was charged upfront to my Amex card. After waiting past when I should have received the item, I contacted this seller twice without receiving any response by e-mail.

Imagine my surprise when I decided to look up the item I ordered on the seller's website, and discovered it was no longer available.

I was finally forced to open a dispute on this with Amex, who are posting a credit to my account while they look into it. And I still have never heard back from the merchant.
