I have an 2009 SMS 570X at 1,500 miles. I had trouble with it idling up from 2,000 to 3,000 RMP for no reason. When I called SMS and talked to Rod I was told it was a tune issue that they would pick the car up that they had a new tune for the 2010 models and that would fix the problem.

After about 30 days they picked the car up. After they got the car they told me that they was going to put a New 2010 Motor in. After 5 months of getting a run around from Rod and Kent I flew to California to check on my car they had it on a lift the fuel door and shifter were taken off other then that they had not touched the car.

When I ask Kent why the fuel door was off he said he didn't know and the mechanic was off on vacation and would not be back until Monday. He would have the mechanic call me to let me know what the hold up was on the car. (which he never called).

Two Weeks later I called Kent told him that 6 months was long enough; fix my car or send it back and I would get someone else to fix it. After that Steve Saleen called he apologized and said that I would have my car in 2 weeks. 1 Week later Kent emailed me pictures of my car with the motor out and said that it wouldn't be long now. He noticed that the front struts were leaking and that they ordered me new ones and that they should be in any day.

After 6 months when I got my car back it had a bad oil leak when I call SMS Kent told me to have it checked out and to let him know what I found out. I took it to Tupelo Auto Sales (my dodge dealership) the leak was the front crank seal and SMS approved them to do the repair. (the harmonic balancer flared out over the key way and tore the seal).

While Tupelo Auto Sales had the car they noticed that the rear shocks were leaking oil. They called SMS and they said they would send some new ones. When they showed me the leaks I noticed that SMS had replaced my S4 struts with stock RT Struts this was all in November 2010 it is now April 2011 and I still have not received the shocks or my reimbursement of $993.11

I have emailed and gotten no responses. Every time I call all I get is that He will call you back.

It sucks to make an investment and then not be able to enjoy it for MONTHS!
