I purchased an Intex cloud m6 phone from snapdeal on 27th Aug 15 Order No: 8133744060 by looking at the product specification and reviews.

I would like to bring kind attention towards Snapdeal Trust Pay policy as it's a big fraud. As per specification, when I ordered product, I expected product to be as good as per specification. But it shattered my expectation when I received the phone.It's camera is pathetic as I was expecting 8 mega pixel is good spec for any phone. As a customer, product quality is not as per my expectation.

So I asked for refund as Snapdeal ensures 100% money back guarantee. Up to my surprise I got following revert:

"Snapdeal has reviewed your product and found that the desired product had been delivered to you in good condition. Hence we will not be able to fullfil your request for returning product."

Any other eCommerce platform i.e Flipkart, Amazon provides min 10 days money back guarantee on any electronic product. So what exactly Snapdeal's trust pay means for if they are not ensuring any product quality but to get refund you will have to justify for a damaged/defective piece. Quality does not matter here.

So my questions:

1) How a customer can know about product quality without getting it in hand. I just went on reviews and purchased and if I'm not happy with product quality. Snapdeal should be sole responsible for replacement/refund. Snapdeal Trustpay 100 % money back guarantee ensured me nothing but a trap.

2) I was asked to show device to Intex (manufacturer) and send Snapdeal a written confirmation for replacement from Intex. So now from the day I got product, I need to run to manufacturer. So what's role of Snapdeal and trust pay and money back gaurantee. It's horrible.

3) On my refund request, customer care response is really pathetic as they are more concerned to showcase hidden terms and conditions rather listening to customer's grievance. At the time purchase nowhere it's mentioned that warranty does not cover if quality is not up to mark for electronic product and later customer regret purchase from Snapdeal.

I request other customers not to fall in trap. Please don't see 100% money back guarantee label as they will simply back off just by saying electronic items do not cover under policy.
